Fort Bragg Center for Laser and Cosmetic Dentistry is growing and we are looking for either a full time or part time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dental practice is Fort Bragg, California.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth
- Conduct oral health assessments and record findings for the dentist
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans
- Sterilize instruments and ensure infection control protocols are followed
- Assist the dentist during exams and procedures when needed
Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Valid state license to practice as a dental hygienist
- CPR certification preferred
- Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient care and safety
- Previous experience in a dental office is preferred but not always required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
